Kirada and her hardships in life, and introduces everyone in the entire "cast."

IT’S A COLD, CRUEL WORLD
A world full of murder, warriors, and betrayal has fallen onto the once-peaceful realm called “Skocjan.” The MacNialls have been forcibly removed from the throne they worked so hard to attain and protect.
With her family being picked off one by one, and the very tribe she grew up with being eliminated, Kirada MacNiall – daughter of the once-powerful rulers – now has to flee to the surface to protect those that she holds dear.
Little does she know, two of the most well-trained assassins of Skocjan are tracking her under the watchful eye of the very creature responsible for the Violent Rebellion. She knows that the trio – along with the large number of Scokjan ‘citizens’ fooled into the Rebellion – want to end the MacNiall bloodlines forever.
Kirada has to take a journey that will take her hundreds of years to complete. Her people depend on her survival, and she has to find those still loyal to the MacNialls in order to succeed in overthrowing the dark intentions put forth by the Violent Rebellion.
